Greater Boston has officially cemented its place as the second-largest innovation hub in the world. In an ecosystem this competitive, proximity to talent and innovation is only second to having the tools and resources to scale.

According to JLL’s Innovation Geographies 2026 report, Greater Boston ranks as the second-largest innovation hub in the world, trailing only the Bay Area. For anyone working in, building for, or investing in this region, that is signal for where the industry is headed locally. This momentum is being recognized nationally, with a16z bringing its flagship Tech Week to Boston for the first time ever (May 26–31, 2026), with 80+ co-hosts from across the ecosystem. A clear signal that the broader tech world is paying attention

The ecosystem here is unlike anywhere else. From biotech corridors in Kendall Square to fintech clusters in the Financial District, Boston has long punched above its weight. The density of talent, capital, and ambition continues to rise, and we’re proud to be part of the greater real estate ecosystem that helps create access for success.

A region wired for builders

The Boston innovation ecosystem is a living network of accelerators, coalitions, and grassroots communities that collectively expand who gets to participate in the startup economy.

  • Massachusetts AI Coalition: Coordinating AI policy, talent, and investment across the Commonwealth
  • MassChallenge: One of the world’s largest startup accelerators, headquartered in Boston
  • SuffolkTech Boost: Suffolk Construction’s accelerator focused on ConTech startups
  • Build 617: Grassroots community expanding who gets to build in Boston
  • Cambridge Founders Club: Founder-to-founder network embedded in the innovation corridor
  • Boston Tech Week (May 26–31, 2026) — a16z’s flagship Tech Week format comes to Boston for the first time, bringing together founders, investors, and builders from across the national tech ecosystem.

These organizations and initiatives are redefining what Boston’s startup pipeline looks like and are expanding the circle of who participates in it. The strongest ecosystems actively create on-ramps for the founders who might otherwise be overlooked.

Where Infinityy fits in

Infinityy is a Boston-based company with national reach. As one of the most advanced AI-driven property technology platforms purpose-built for real estate professionals, Infinityy uses AI agents to engage directly with homebuyers, understand their priorities, answer nuanced questions, and guide them toward informed decisions. Instead of overwhelming buyers with more information, the platform is designed to deliver meaningful answers and personalized guidance, fundamentally changing how people choose where they want to live, stay, travel, or invest.

The result is faster, smarter conversion of visitors into qualified leads, without sacrificing the human element that closes deals.

REACH, operated by Second Century Ventures (the strategic investment arm of the National Association of REALTORS®) is home to more than 350 of the most innovative companies across eight major global real estate markets. Infinityy was the first technology company invited to particiate in both the residential and commercial cohorts. This is a statement about what Infinityy is building for agents and consumers, and where this technology for buying homes and and experiencing properties is headed.

Infinityy has also established a meaningful partnership with the Miami Association of Realtors, and is integrated into the Miami MLS, giving agents direct, frictionless access to Infinityy’s platform. This national reach stemming out of Boston is a testament to the strength of innovators and real estate servants building for the next generation.

Building at Scale

Boston’s rise to the #2 spot globally is the product of decades of institution-building, intentional investment, and a culture that genuinely believes in what founders can do. As the ecosystem matures, the differentiator will be who has the infrastructure to move fast.

For real estate organizations, that infrastructure increasingly is adoptable AI: always on, deeply integrated, and capable of creating the kind of personalized, responsive experience that converts interest into action.

With Boston Tech Week on the horizon and the Massachusetts AI Coalition actively shaping the region’s AI future, Infinityy is proud to be building here and contributing to the conversation around responsible, applied AI in real estate. If you’re attending Tech Week or looking to expand in this ecosystem with us, let’s connect!
